Also, most of the guides will follow you in your peregrinations by only wearing sandals and sometimes even bare foot! Closed shoes will protect you against some bugs or bites, but are very difficult to bear in a hot weather! Rather go with comfortable shoes, well-ventilated and waterproof if possible but especially skid-proof. During humid season, the grounds are very muddy and can be pretty slippery sometimes. However, it has to be noted that shoe sizes here do not exceed 44!
Do I have to bring special shoes for treks?
